Third Victory For Romeo Bravo

Six year old Roski-bred Romeo Bravo won his third race at Fairview on Friday, over 1800m on the Polytrack.

Holding on bravely to win by a nose, Romeo Bravo has been consistent throughout his racing career, placing 15 times from 29 starts, with three wins.

Trained by George Uren who also owns a share in partnership with V K W Mathews, Romeo Bravo won from Lateral colt Zoo Biscuit, with Rocket Rider (by Jet Master) running in third position.

Romeo Bravo is by Jallad out of Mistress Mine, by Muhtafal - a R410 000 National Yearling Sales graduate of 2010 who has raced over four seasons.

Mistress Mine was a six-time winner who produced four runners and four winners. She is a half-sister to Rambo's Love - resident broodmare at Roski Stud of Dubai winner and Gr2 placed Journeyman, five-time winning Bo Jally as well as R1,2million Ready To Run Sale graduate, Chilli Affair and has a stunning Var weanling this year.

The half-sister broodmares are both out of Braashee mare Love's Desire, who also produced Black Types' Dance All Day, Manville and Diva's Daughter. Her seven runners and seven winners in total produced 29 wins between all of them.

Well done to the winning connections on a fantastic win.
