Roski Fillies Continue To Perform
Roski fillies Just Vogue and Kateecador continue to show their mettle, opening the new season for Roski with a win and a close places each.
Just Vogue, a gutsy Just As Well filly who has earned her owners over R500 000, won again, this time over 1200m at Scottsville from Gratuity. Just Vogue has since placed again, giving her owners Messrs R G Coppin & G Baldeo & Team G Racing (Nom: Mr G H van Zyl) five wins and 15 places in total. She has been fantastic on the track and sold for just R25 000 at the 2015 KZN Yearling Sale.
Another favourite is Kateecador, a daughter of Toreador out of our special mare Katici Princess, who was a half-sister to Kahal. She won at the end of August by almost two lengths to take her third career win from only 11 starts, and since placed next time out to make it five places and earned almost R300 000 in stakes.
Jullidar has excelled since being exported to Mauritius, winning four times and placing 13 times since his relocation - and only been out of the money on four occasions!

In addition overall, from a handful of our horses to race in the new season, seven have placed, including La Bahia by a head at Turffontein for Chesney Van Zyl. The 3yo Toreador filly is out of Dynasty filly, Bay Princess.
Last season saw us finish with 54% winners to runners which we are very proud of, and the breeding season has seen us welcome a number of beautiful foals by Futura (out of Tempted), Duke Of Marmalade (out of Polzeath - dam of Miss Minver) and Kingsbarns (Lady Tatty).
