Roski-bred Journeyman Impressive Winning Debut

Two year old colt Journeyman, by Trippi out of Rambo's Love by Rambo Dancer, made a cracking career start by winning his debut by almost four lengths at Turffontein on Friday evening.

A R900 000 National Yearling Sales graduate from 2012, Journeyman defeated the talented Stronghold colt Buffalo Bill (a winner and placed in all three of his starts) and Woza Madoda, a Black Minnaloushe colt into third place.

Journeyman is owned by Mary Slack of Wilgebosdrift Stud, trained by Mike De Kock and ridden to victory by Anthony Delpech off the seventh draw.

We have a beautiful Western Winter colt named Chilli Affair out of Rambo's Love being presented at the upcoming Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale on 26 & 28 April 2013. He is being consigned as Lot 107, and is now a half-brother to two winners, including Bo Jally (by Jallad).

Rambo's Love has now produced two runners and two winners. A Gr 3 Debutante winner herself, Rambo's Love had two wins and nine places. She is a half-sister to six-time winner Dance All Day, and Gr 3 placed Manville.

This is also the dam-line of Brief Affaire, Land Lubber, European champion filly Pass The Peace and Embassy - the granddam of King's Apostle.
