Regal Breeze Makes It Three Under Top Weight By Five Lengths
Regal Breeze won her third race at Flamingo Park impressively by almost five lengths under jockey Franklin Maleking.
The Windrush mare placed third in her previous start and went onto take the race over 1600m carrying top weight of 61.5kgs, giving the second horse Tobe Heather not only a five length defeat but adding an additional 2.5kg beating in weight. All The Tens and Astro Vision placed respectively.
Regal Breeze is trained by Cliffie Miller and owned by Roski Stud. Out of Heroic by Sportsworld, Regal Breeze has been a consistent horse, having now won three times and placing 12 times from 18 starts. A filly who enjoys the sand, her previous win saw her win over 1800m by almost four lengths.
She is a half-sister to two winners, Little Miss Casey and Royal Hero.
Regal Breeze carries an impressive damline - which includes the likes of sires Greenhill Gold and Sandown Lord, as well as brilliant racemares Reprocolor, Bella Colora, Stagecraft, Colorspin and Opera House. This is also the dam-line of sire Mullins Bay.
