Chilli Affair Rewarded For Consistence

Roski-bred Chilli Affair was rewarded for his consistence, winning at the age of six at Scottsville over 1950m. The beautifully-bred regal son of Western Winter out of our special mare Rambo's Love is lightly raced and has placed nine times from fifteen starts.

In the first of a double for jockey Dennis Schwarz, Chilli Affair won emphatically for trainer Alyson Wright and the Hollywood Syndicate (Nom: Mr O B Heffer).

Initially sold for R375 000 at the National Yearling Sale and later that same year for R1,2 million at the TBA Ready To Run Sale, the imposing plain dark bay is a half-brother to Gr2 placed and Dubai winner Journeyman, as well as recent Flamingo Park Racing Association Sprint winner, Roy's Marciano - a five-time winner and eight-time placed Var Side.

Sadly we lost Rambo's Love in 2015, but she has left a smart juvenile Just As Well filly named Lovewell.

Rambo's Love won the Gr3 Debutante and has to date produced five winners from seven runners. Her other prolific horse produced was the 5-time winning Jallad filly, Bo Jally and daughter of Captain Al, Boloval.

Congratulations to Alyson Wright and the winning connections.
