Rascality Breaks Maiden

After finishing in second place three times and once just out of the money by just over a length off the winner, Rascality has deservedly broken her maiden plate over 2000m at Turffontein, in devastating fashion by five and half lengths.

The big, good-looking daughter of Kahal who stands over ground is owned by Messrs I Shaik and trainer Gavin van Zyl. Rascality sold for R120 000 at the 2013 National Yearling Sale - from nine horses consigned at Nationals that year by Roski, five have won!

Out of Braashee mare Ill Saint Marie, Rascality is a full-sister to 4-time winner Looks Like Trouble, who also placed in the Gr3 East Cape Derby.

Ille Saint Marie has produced six winners to date, including 4-time winner Arewehavingfunyet (by National Emblem) and 6-time winner Precision (by Fard), as well as 3-time winner Trouble Again by Kahal.

The second dam is French mare Confettine, dam of 6-time winner Louis Luck (including the Michael Roberts Listed).

Congratulations to all concerned!
