Leven Point Third Win On Poly

Leven Point continues superb form to get his third win on Greyville's synthetic surface track, over 1600m for trainer Frank Robinson.

A magnificent liver chestnut son of Fort Wood, he has now won three races and placed once from just five starts for owner Mr F Bifov over distances of 1400 to 1800m. He won his latest start on Friday evening by two lengths from Prof Tiger, Pearly King and Kashan.

His dam Pointing East is by Jallad, herself a winner who placed in the Gr3 Strelitzia Stakes. The second dam is Compass Point, who produced Equus Champion Miler Pointing North - a six-time winner in South Africa and the United States.

This is also the damline of sire and Gr2 Cape Classic winner Blue Tiger, as well as the likes of Bold Black Types Wainui, Waitara and Count Pahvli.
