Roski Sell Top Priced Captain Of All Colt At Nationals

Roski Stud sold the top priced Captain Of All colt at the recent Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale. The grey colt is a first foal out of Gr2 Gauteng Fillies Guineas winner, Go Indigo.

Our colt, named Indy Go, sold for R325 000 to Ralphs Racing as Lot 158. Go Indigo is a half-sister to Tar Heel and an 8-time winner, including the Gr3 Three Troikas. This is also the family of Gr2 placed Stirling Bridge, and stallion On Stage can be found under the fourth dam.

Our other to sell was Captain Tatters, affectionately named after our dear Dad Greg Royden-Turner. The Gimmethegreenlight colt out of Lady Tatty sold to John Freeman for R200 000. Captain Tatters is the second foal of our Gr3 placed mare Lady Tatty - her first foal by Irish Flame, Drunken Sailor, won impressively on debut as a 2yo for trainer Gavin Van Zyl. This is the damline of Gr1 winner, Desert Links.

Our horses are doing us proud on the racetracks, and we currently are boasting a winners to runners percentage of 46.2% for the season from 26 runners for the season and stakes of almost R1,150 000.
