Second Win For Leven Point

The beautiful son of Fort Wood won second time out on the polytrack at Greyville for trainer Frank Robinson. In just his third start, Leven Point has now won twice and finished just two lengths off Split The Breeze on debut.

A first foal for his dam Pointing East (by Jallad), Leven Point is owned by Mr Bifov and sold for R250 000 at the 2013 National Yearling Sale.

Giving the second horse Blaze The Trail a quarter length beating, and by 2kgs in weight, he won easily under Ian Sturgeon over 1800m. The Royal Rhumba and Billy Boy Blues placed respectively behind him.

His dam is a winner who placed in the Gr3 Strelitzia Stakes. The second dam is Compass Point, who produced Equus Champion Miler Pointing North - a six-time winner in South Africa and the United States. This is also the damline of sire and Gr2 Cape Classic winner Blue Tiger, as well as the likes of Bold Black Types Wainui, Waitara and Count Pahvli.

Congratulations to his his winning connections.
