The farm, in extent 50Ha, is predominantly under kikuyu pastures - with rye grass planted annually to maintain a constant supply of green feed for the horses all year round.
Our horses enjoy the uninhibited freedom of large paddocks, which we believe to be especially conducive to the development of tough youngsters, but are carefully monitored on a daily basis, with stringent inoculation and hoof care practices being upheld.
The stud enjoys a close working relationship with highly qualified veterinarians and an experienced farrier.
There are 21 stables on the property, including a maternity wing, a sick bay and yearling preparation block.
Although still in it's infancy - through careful and scientific matings, a balanced feed programme, well maintained pastures and quality care - Roski Stud is growing each year and is now home to 28 broodmares, who have produced some good, strong, well boned and athletic yearlings for both the National, as well as the KZN Yearling Sales.
